ASSISTIVE LISTENING DEVICES
Assistive listening devices can play a major role in managing and living with hearing loss. Many individuals with hearing loss find their hearing aids and/or cochlear implants alone are not enough. Using assistive listening technology along with hearing aids and cochlear implants can greatly enrich one’s life.
It’s a fact, many who use assistive listening devices along with their hearing aids/cochlear implants experience greater satisfaction and long term success with their hearing instruments. This informative workshop provides demonstrations and information about many of the devices currently available including telephones, personal and group listening systems, alerting devices. The Canadian Hard of Hearing Association encourages people with hearing loss to look beyond their hearing aids and cochlear implants and hear what you are missing.
The Canadian Hard of Hearing Association, Sudbury Branch offers a two hour workshop on Assistive Listening Device. These workshops have become very popular and provide a wealth of resources and information. There is no charge for these workshops.
