Due to a decided lack of accessible facilities available for people with hearing loss in North-Eastern Ontario, the Sudbury Branch opened the Hearing Help Centre. The building was renovated from a school to include insulated ceilings, carpeting and textured wallpaper to provide sound absorption and reduce reverberation.  It has been outfitted with Sound Fields, FM Systems, Remote Real-Time Captioning and Computerized Notetaking.  The facility also boasts a state-of-the-art Visual Alerting System that was specifically designed to our specifications and is unlike anything else available on the market.

The Hearing Help Centre is also open to the public during regular business hours.  We will assist with hearing aids and  batteries as well as any questions you may have.
